Dear friends, we have completed the second session of the 5th Legal Discussion Forum of the Association of Advocates of Ukraine, which combined the topics related to the judicial process under martial law.
“I was privileged to act as the moderator of the 2nd session of the 5th Legal Discussion Forum, and to discuss with the distinguished speakers a very significant topic of the judicial process under the conditions of the martial law. Today, it is important to unite the entire legal community in the fight against the aggressor, to work on common mechanisms of holding liable the aggressor country. Thank you Association of Advocates of Ukraine for the opportunity to discuss such vital topics for Ukraine,” noted Pavlo Kuftyryev, PhD in Law, the lawyer and managing partner of GRECO – Law Company.
We were pleased to welcome such speakers of the second session: – Mykhailo Smokovych, the Chairman of the Administrative Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court, the judge, doctor of juridical sciences, professor, honoured lawyer of Ukraine;
– Olena Kibenko, the judge of the Supreme Court in the Commercial Court of Cassation, doctor of juridical sciences, professor;
– Volodymyr Vashchenko, the partner of VB PARTNERS, head of the Dispute Resolution Practice, lawyer;
– Nadiia Stefaniv, the judge of the Criminal Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court;
– Vasyl Krat, the judge of the Civil Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court, PhD in law, associate professor;
– Ivaniv Andrii, the lawyer, adviser of EQUITY Law Firm;

- Distance justice and electronic court
- Court in a smartphone as the next step in the digital transformation of justice (will Ukraine succeed in becoming a world leader in this process?)
- The High Anti-Corruption Court and sanctions proceedings
- Determination of territorial jurisdiction
- Terms in private relations: separate remarks in the context of judicial practice
- Procedural terms and limitation of actions: problems of calculation and renewal
- Class actions as a tool of mass justice
